I have a proven track record of member engagement and advancement at all levels of the ACS while maintaining an active research and outreach portfolio. Nevertheless, I will bring a growth mindset to my activities as President so as to learn from you and all of our members how to best chart the future for our Society.

I served on the ACS Board of Directors for 6 years, as Chair of the National Awards Advisory Board, and have been a chair and member of several national task forces and committees.

I am a member of COMP and PHYS, and have served their leadership over the last two decades.
ACS Georgia Local Section
I served on the ACS-GLS Executive Board from ’98-’00, and ’03 to ’14, and as a member and chair on several committees over more than 2 decades.
